Valentine's Day Cards

Hello Everyone!
Popping in to share some of the Valentine's Day cards I made for the Cards From The Heart Card Drive.  Winter Sims organized the drive to collect handmade cards for hospitalized children.  Thank you to Winter again this year for organizing this drive!!
Here is a photo of the whole stack of 54 cards I made.

I used papers I had in my stash that were so full of detail, they could stand on their own.  I added some embellishments and some sentiments.  I used markers to add a little color to the black/white paper

Will be back tomorrow with more of the cards.  Also thinking about having a craft day once in a while with other types of crafts.  So, see you tomorrow!!

Fortieth Anniversary Card

Hello Everyone!
Hope your new year is going well.  I am busy getting back to normal after the Holidays.  Finally packed up all the decorations the other day.  I finished an afghan for the bedroom.  And, made some cross stitch projects.  I am also working on Valentine's Day  cards for a card drive.  I will share photos of those later.
Today's post is a card I sort of cased from a Stampin' Up catalog.  I made the card for a custom order.

Stamps are all from Stampin' Up.  I also added a sheet of velum over the red striped decorative paper.

Challenges:
Brown Sugar: Anything goes
Creative Corner: Anything goes
Jo's Scrap Shack:Anything goes

That's all for now.  See you again soon.  I will have some photos of new projects.  Maybe the afghan too.  Have a lovely day!

Welcome Baby Card

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the new year!  I thought I would start off the new year with a Welcome Baby Card.  This was a card made for a card order. I used lots of pink, as the baby is a girl.

  • Stamps are from Stampin' Up and My Sentiments Exactly.

  •  Used pink CS and DP.  Added a pink doily heart

Nice change up from all the winter and Holiday cards.  I am already looking forward to Spring.  I know I have a long wait though.

Two fun challenges for my baby card:

Crafty Hazelnut's Pattern Paper: anything with decorative paper-Jan
Simon's Wednesday: anything goes

See you next time for my crafty fun!!

Merry and Bright Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone!
Just a really quick post to share the rest of the Christmas cards I made to send out.
This card uses  heavy decorative paper.  I cut the front down to show the inside of the card.

One more card to go.  I will post it tomorrow.  Having a small get together this afternoon.  Should be fun.
